Janet gave an exclusive interview to ABC’s Robin Roberts last night, its her first interview since the death of Michael and she keeps it real about all the allegations surrounding his death.
Also, Janet has a new recording deal with A&M records and music mogul Jimmy Iovine is backing her 100%. An inside source stated “Jimmy has given the mandate to make this Janet record a success,” says the insider. “He believes that he has the right team in place to finally take Janet back to the top of the music charts. It’s a top priority for the label.”
A&M Records is putting a lot of effort — and a ton of money — into the promotion of Janet Jackson’s new greatest hits album, and with good reason. A source tells us the label quietly signed the pop star to a new recording contract last month.
It’s a homecoming of sorts for Jackson — and perhaps an attempt to reclaim her glory days: She began her career at A&M at 16 and had her biggest U.S. hit under their management: “Janet Jackson’s Rhythm Nation 1814″ moved a whopping 8.5 million units in 1989.

The Diesel is putting together the show featuring large pieces of contemporary art, including works by Maurizio Cattelan, Andreas Gursky and Ron Mueck’ssculpture of a naked, hairless giant called “Untitled (Big Man.)”
Talking about whoppers, author James Frey — whose memoir “A Million Little Pieces” was found to contain a few tall tales — is writing an essay for the exhibition catalog.
The show opens at the Flag Art Foundation on West 25th Street in February. Shaq told Bloomberg News curating was like playing basketball: “I have a responsibility to the artists, who are my ‘teammates.’ We all have to make each other look good — no different than what I do on the court.”

The big Shaq Diesel does it again, he could not resist the pressure to don us with his presence; that he actually stole this time to do it. This whole saga unfolded on the Phoenix suns team bus, en route to a game or practice; Steve Nash opens up to his team mates about the new reality show he’s hoping to bring to life someday, the main idea was him facing other pro athletes at their own sport. The team mates where happy for Steve, wished him luck and they proceeded to their game which they probably lost.
About 7-8 months later Super Shaq boarded the bus with his team mates and broke the news to them that he will be starring in a new reality show where he will be going head to head with, you said it, pro athletes in their own sport. A Suns representative actually heard Nash say “you mean the one you stole from me?”
If you actually watch this show and keep your eyes glued all the way to the credits, you’ll see Steve Nash actually has his name in the credits as an executive producer, this is due to some good legal work performed by his lawyers. See Steve was smart enough to know he deserved a slice of that pie, you should be aware and don’t let anyone take slices out of your pie, especially if they do it without your permission.

The NY Jets has agreed to a trade with the Cleveland Browns, which includes them taking Braylon Edwards and sending to the Browns key special teams player Jason Trusnik, wide receiver Chansi Stuckey and a pair of draft picks to Cleveland. This is the new start Braylon needs to get back to that pro-bowl caliber receiver that he can be, and it also gives the Jets and Mark Sanchez the deep threat thats need to make NFl defenses play honest.

“Shaq has a new name The Big Ethanol,” O’Neal said, laughing. “Yeah. The Big Ethanol.” O’Neal has put his size-23 footprint on the world, and now it seems he’s trying to remove it.
Reported by Daily News as part of his whirlwind summer tour that has taken him from Phoenix to Cleveland, from Monday Night Raw to Tuesday night ABC, O’Neal has teamed with GreenHouse, a San Diego- based energy company in the production of The Microfueler, an in-home organic fuel microrefinery.
“I’m an every-day person who’s won the athletic lottery three times,” O’Neal said. “You know when you go to a store and buy a scratcher and all of a sudden you’re a millionaire? That’s how it happened for me. You see me here, no bodyguards, no entourage. I don’t live my life like a celebrity. Luckily for me, I’ve done things the right way, I’ve marketed myself the right way and people seem to know who I am.
“My mother told me when I was young, ‘Make them remember your name,’ and do it for the right reasons.” ”They showed me how it works, and it was great,” said Shaq, who is having a microfueler, which takes organic waste and converts it into ethanol, installed in his own house.
With dozens of business opportunities coming his way every day, O’Neal appreciates simple deals and plain language. When a friend of a friend pitched the idea behind the Microfueler – “Their shpiel was, ‘We take (bleep), put it in this (bleeping) bucket, and turn it into fuel,’” O’Neal said; “I’m like, ‘Yeah, right.’” - O’Neal had his business managers do their due diligence and he came on board.
In other news, according to the Washington Examiner NBA all-star Steve Francis business partner Nathan A. Peake is being accused of tax evasion. Nathan allegedly has been using a shell corporation to avoid paying over a half-million in taxes according to court records. If convicted he will face five years in prison and a $100,000 fine.
Francis is the president of Nathan’s Peake Management Group Boxing which has contracts with boxing promoter Don King as well as HBO and co-own a DC brand We R One.

It official the Cavs and the Suns have come to an agreement to send Shaq to Cleveland in return the Suns will get Ben Wallace and Sasha Pavlovic the Suns will also receive the 46th pick in this year’s draft AND $500k. This is just what LeBron needed a certified big man; there should be no excuses now. What are your thoughts on this trade will the Cavs take it all this year or will this just be a ticket/ratings booster minus a championship?

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a more lavish gift than this; Shaq has purchased his wife a private jet. The jet costs a reported $30-$40mil and it has her name embroidered on the side with a portrait of her face on the tail-wing.
