Nas – It Aint Hard To Tell

According to Allhiphop on December 9 the Los Angeles Superior Court Judge David S. Cunningham ordered Nas to pay$51,101 a month in spousal and child support to ex-wife Kelis.
Cunningham made his ruling following two days of testimony from Nas and Kelis. Kelis verified that she inked a new recording contract with Interscope Records for $175,000. However, her attorney explained that the majority of that sum was paid out to her managers, leaving the singer with only$50,000.
When cross-examined, she told Nas attorney Mark Kaplan that her comeback career was a far cry from her former chart topping fame circa the 2003 single “Milkshake,” indicating that her latest song was quietly dropped on Twitter. Her income could also not be determined, as documentation shows Kelis has not filed an income tax return in years.
In Nas’ testimony, the Queens legend confirmed that he would not release solo album in 2010, but did not disclose whether that included his Damian Marley collaboration LP Distant Relatives. His statements also revealed that he owed $700,000 to his manager, and $2.5 million in back taxes to the IRS.
Along with the spousal and child support decree, Nas is now relieved of having to pay the $13,000 a month mortgage for the ex-couple’s Los Angeles home, in which Kelis currently resides. Before yesterday’s verdict, Nas was reportedly paying close to $40,000 a month in temporary support. At press time, neither Nas nor Kelis have personally commented on the ruling.
And With That Being Said, We Got To Run The Video….

TMZ must be working with the IRS because they are all over entertainers and the tax problems. It looks like Nas is the most recent artist that the IRS is coming after for failure to pay up. It is said that he owes $2.5 mil for his 2006 and 2007 taxes. Not to long ago Method Man was in the new for his tax problems and he warned us that a whole lot of artist were going to be put on blast for owing Uncle Sam, I guess he wasn’t playing.

Nas and Bow Wow popped up on Globalgrind to address the violent death of the young brother from Chicago Derrion Albert, Check it Out:
Nas’s Open Letter:
Dear Young Warriors fighting the wrong wars! Killing each other is definitely played out. Being hurt from the lost of a love one was never cool.
Dear Young Warriors fighting the wrong war! I know that feeling, that frustration with life and needing to take it out on someone, anyone. But….
We chose the dumbest things to go the hardest for. I remember seeing deaths over 8 ball jackets, Fila sneakers, and name plate chains. Deaths over “he say, she say”!!!!! “I’m from this block or I’m from that block”, or “my moms n pops is f*cked up now the whole world gotta pay”!!!
I remember feeling like I was the hardest “n*gga” breathing. And I couldn’t wait to prove it. But let’s think. What are we really proving?? And proving what to who?? Everybody knows Chicago breeds the strongest of the strong but I just feel, me, being ya brother from another state feels your pain as if I grew up with you in ya very own household.
You have the ability and mind power to change the way we are looked at. Look who’s watching us young warriors, look who’s throwing us in jail constantly, look at the ignorance in the world. Look at the racist dogs who love to see us down. Loving to bury us in the ground or in jail where we continue this worthless war on one another.
Young warriors…. We are WASTING more and more time. We gotta get on our jobs and take over the world. Cuz this movie left the theaters years ago, Juice, Menace, Boys n the Hood , Blood n Blood Out, Belly!
When we see each other why do we see hatred? Why were we born in a storm, born soldiers, WARRIORS….and instead of building each other up we are at war with each other.. May the soul of this young person find peace with the almighty; I’m with you young warriors. You’re me and I’m you. But trust me! you are fighting the wrong war.
This sh*t sucks !!
