Nick Cannon is doing big things as thee new Chairman of TeenNick, this position was tailor fit for him the network even has homie’s name, how ironic is that. Nick will be bringing together a a group of A-list celebrities to assist him in honoring young people who are having a major impact bettering our world, check it out:
LeBron James, Alicia Keys, Hayden Panettiere and Justin Timberlake join TeenNick Chairman Nick Cannon in an hour-long special presentation that recognizes and celebrates real teens who are “Helping And Leading Others” (HALO) and working to make a significant difference in the world.
The TeenNick HALO Awards highlights the unique stories of four teens — Brryan Jackson, Megan Kilroy, Darrius Snow and Leah Stoltz — who have made enormous service contributions in their communities. The teens are each surprised by a visit from Cannon and awarded a grant for their organization, scholarship funds and an once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to meet and connect with a celebrity who shares a similar passion for their cause.
“There are so many regular young people who are agents of change in their communities, and I wanted to recognize their efforts,” said Nick Cannon, Chairman, TeenNick. “One person can make a difference, and it’s my hope that this special will encourage ongoing activism and inspire a new generation of leaders.”
The TeenNick HALO Awards premieres Friday, Dec. 11, at 8 p.m. (ET), on Nickelodeon’s TeenNick network.

Two women with distinctly different styles work it out without a problem. “PUT IT IN A LOVE SONG” presents every bit of soul that we have come to expect from Ms. Keys mixed with an upbeat banger that Beyonce does all too well. Oh…you don’t believe me? Listen up….

This was a big moment for not only Jay and Alicia Keys but for the hip hop culture. The World Series is one of the biggest events an artist can every perform at, and if I’m not mistaken this is the first time a hip hop act has performed at the World Series.

TMZ must be working with the IRS because they are all over entertainers and the tax problems. It looks like Nas is the most recent artist that the IRS is coming after for failure to pay up. It is said that he owes $2.5 mil for his 2006 and 2007 taxes. Not to long ago Method Man was in the new for his tax problems and he warned us that a whole lot of artist were going to be put on blast for owing Uncle Sam, I guess he wasn’t playing.
