Yo I got to give it up “Kick Ass” was funny as hell. It will definitely be a block buster for years to come considering the star casts are all very young and the plot of the film can continue to be built upon. This is one you would mind seeing two or three times; I just can’t wait to see part two and see the homie Mclovin go crazy.

The branding strategy of creating a cinematic shorts along with the album is becoming more and more popular amongst hip hop artist. Artist like Rick Ross, Fabolous, 50 Cent, Camron, etc… have all use short films to help promote their albums. The first artist that I remember making this trend popular is Snoop Dogg with ‘Murder Was The Case’ movie and album then Jay Z and Dame Dash followed up with the ‘Streets Is Watching’. Seem like its going to be a good flick, but what trailer doesn’t make a movie seem that way. Ashton is a pretty funny dude so I’m not going to bet against him. The story line kinda remind you of the flick with Arnold Schwarzenegger “True Lies” from back in the day, but check it out!
