Dash has confirmed her new romance with Jamie Foxx – the pair enjoyed their “first date” at last week’s Oscars. The actress recently filed for divorce from her husband Emmanuel Xuereb, who she married in 2007.
She sparked speculation of a new relationship with Foxx when she accompanied him to the Academy Awards, and stayed by his side at the Vanity Fair after party. Now, the 44-year-old beauty has revealed the Ray actor asked her out after she appeared on his U.S. radio show and admits they really “like each other”.
She said, “I did his radio show The Foxxhole and after the show he said, ‘Do you want to go with me to some parties Sunday night, Oscar night?’ I was like, ‘Oh, yeah, sure’. And then he texted me and it was for real.
“He sent a car for me and then I picked him up. He wasn’t ready though. His family was there. It was all very, very wholesome. A real first date. We’re friends. We like each other. He’s a nice guy.”

According to People Magazine Corey Haim, who became a teen idol when he starred in “The Lost Boys,” then turned into a cautionary tale about early stardom, died of an apparent overdose in Los Angeles.
Haim, who was 38 and had long battled drugs, was found by his mother, unconscious in his apartment, according to People magazine. The L.A. coroner’s office said Haim died at 2:15 a.m. at Providence St. Joseph Medical center in Burbank.
Haim, who had battled drug addiction for amost 3 decades was born in 1971 in Ontario, Canada, broke into acting with a role on a TV series in his native country in 1982. From there, he went on to film work, appearing in 1984’s “Firstborn,” with Sarah Jessica Parker and Robert DowneyJr. Throughout the 1980s, he was seen in several major movies, including “The Lost Boys,” with Kiefer Sutherland

White House officials were button-lipped about the visit Wednesday, but confirmed on Thursday morning that, yes, Jay Z did indeed visit 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. An official said the rapper toured the White House on Wednesday and had a quick, unscheduled visit with President Obama.

LeBron James could reportedly have a new number next season, but Cleveland Cavaliers fans hope the words remain the same.
James filed paperwork to switch from No. 23 to No. 6, the Cleveland Plain Dealer reported on Monday. He beat a Wednesday deadline to make the request.
The All-Star said in November that he was thinking of giving up 23 out of respect for his hero Michael Jordan, but at that time he was “50-50,” according to the newspaper.
“I’ve done it,” James told the Plain Dealer. “I already sent it in. I’m going to be No. 6.”
Six is James’ jersey number on the Olympic team, but the NBA does not have to grant his request. If James switches teams, he can choose any number he wishes. The change only applies if he stays with the Cavaliers.
James will be part of the vaunted 2010 free-agent class that includes Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh. While Bulls fans would like to see him try to make No. 6 as legendary as No. 23 in Chicago, New York has also maneuvered to have enough cap space to sign James.
Cleveland can sign James to a longer, more lucrative deal, however.

As if Tiger Woods’s apology last week for his serial philandering wasn’t enough of a public humiliation, several of his former mistresses have agreed to take part in a beauty pageant in which they will compete for a $100,000 prize. The Tiger Woods Mistress Beauty Pageant, organized by shock jock Howard Stern, will be held on March 10.
So far, only four of the golfer’s former mistresses — out of the 13 identified in the press — have agreed to take part. They will compete in categories such as “Swimsuit,” “Personality” and “Talent” to earn the judges’ votes.
When Stern first announced the idea of the pageant, he said that it would take place only if more than three women responded. All of them had to have been named in news publications as lovers of the golfer.
The prize money for Stern’s pageant will be supplied by AshleyMadison.com, a “discreet dating service” company. The site, which has 4.5 million users, advertises itself with the slogan “Life is Short, Have an Affair.”
